Miss Jones dropped from Hot 97
Yep after many outburst, stunts and drama, Hot Nine Seven has announced that they will be dropping Miss Jones and her Morning Show for undisclosed reasons. They will be replaced by Big Boy and his morning show crew.

New York, June 27th, 2008 — Hot 97 ( WQHT-FM , New York ) has announced a new line-up in the mornings 7am-10am with nationally syndicated Big Boy in the Morning including the award winning entertainment of national funny man Big Boy, and MTV Entertainment Reporter Luscious Liz Hernandez. The 7am – 10am show will be preceded daily by an early edition 5am-7am local show featuring the eclectic combo of HOT 97 rising stars Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg . Both shows will begin on HOT 97 effective July 21st.
Cipha Sounds and Peter Rosenberg is set to come on before Big Boys show.
These two are really funny and should add some true comedy for your morning routine

Sources say the straw that broke the camel’s back was when she called
Barack Obama a black “bi!@@” when he was up against H. Clinton. Additionally, it was political as the MTA, Police, Mayors of both NY and Philadelphia got a lot of heat from her and she would get a lot of people stirred up over valid issues, but she would go to far. She didn’t hold her tongue which made her show ALWAYS in the top 3. Now hot 97’s morning show is #16 under Big Boi’s Neighborhood which is a bunch of nonsense – no issues ever discussed and it’s just bafoonery. I hate E-bro – who BTW isn’t even from NY so he doesn’t give a crap either way. Bring back Miss Jones or at least a FEMALE Fiesty morning show host. Males dominate the morning shows on each station and it’s sad.

I agree. Big Boi’s show is weak and irrelevant. Ms. Jones show was entertaining and made a difference. Basically, all we have now in the morning is Ed Lover (who has a better than average show), but he is quite non-controversial. Steve Harvey is too country for me.

big boi’s morning show is not funny at all and it is a waist of time to listen too. miss jones was too crazy to listen to and the best show is the z100 morning show. it is with white people and they rule the world. why don’t we just listen to then
